Resolution reported: That for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to amend the Housing (Emergency Powers) Act, 1939, and the Essential Buildings and Plant (Repair of War Damage) Act, 1939, it is expedient to authorise

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase in the amount of the loans made under the two last-mentioned Acts attributable to the provisions (whether retrospective or not) of the said Act of the present Session;
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer of any increase so attributable in the sums received by way of repayment of such loans.
