HC Deb 29 January 1941 vol 368 cc550-1
34. Mr. Martin

asked the Minister of Information, whether his attention has been drawn to a recent broadcast by Mr. W. J. Brown, in which an account was given of the intentions of the Germans towards the British people in the event of a German victory; and whether he will give an assurance that all such statements are carefully examined and checked?

The Minister of Information (Mr. Duff Cooper)

Yes, Sir, I am aware of this talk, the script of which was submitted to the customary careful examination before delivery. All the statements made in it can be adequately substantiated.

Sir J. Lamb

Is my right hon. and gallant Friend aware that by a vast majority of the public this is looked upon as having been one of the best and most valuable talks which have been given?

Mr. Logan

Could we get another contribution like it?
