HC Deb 22 January 1941 vol 368 c190
Mr. Lees-Smith

(by Private Notice) asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make in regard to the report from the Select Committee on the Conduct of a Member?

The Prime Minister

The report came into our hands only yesterday afternoon, and I am sure that the House will require time to consider it, before any question of debate arises. If a Debate is desired, arrangements will be made for it to take place on an early date. As the House is aware, my hon. Friend the Member for East Aberdeen (Mr. Boothby) has resigned his office as Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food.
