Mr. Bateyasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that last Thursday nearly 200 passengers from London to Durham, and intermediate stations, were sent from Darlington to Bishop Auckland and there left stranded; and will he inquire why the officials at Darlington and Bishop Auckland stations were so indifferent to the getting of passengers to their destinations and consider expediting the service to Durham which last Thursday took 14 hours from King's Cross?
