15. Mr. Ammon

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty in how many instances during the past 12 months have papers and documents concerning his Department been left in, or taken from, private motor cars and Admiralty or other Service vehicles, and how many were recovered?

In the time available I have been unable to trace any instance in which a document has been lost in these circumstances in the past 12 months. I am having further inquiries made, and if any instance of the kind is brought to light, I will inform my hon. Friend.
