asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can give an assurance that, so far as is possible, no Italian man accused of deeds of cruelty and oppression contrary to the usage and custom of war, committed against inhabitants of Ethiopia, will be included in any scheme for evacuation from that country until after evidence has been taken and, where necessary, custody in British control can be maintained?
