§ Captain MargessonThe average age of an infantry divisional commander in the British Army is 48½. The estimated average age of German and Japanese infantry divisional commanders is 54 in each case. Very little information is-available with regard to the ages of Russian divisional commanders, but it is not thought that any are over 45.
