§ The Prime MinisterThe Business will be as follows:
First Sitting Day.—Committee stage of the Supplementary Vote of Credit for War Expenditure; and afterwards the Second 1686 Reading of the Education (Scotland) Bill and the Motion to approve the Cinematograph Films (Quota Amendment) Order.
Second Sitting Day.— Report stage of the Supplementary Vote of Credit. A Debate on Service Pay and Dependants' Allowances will take place.
Third Sitting Day.—We shall ask the House to pass a special Consolidated Fund Bill through all its stages. Afterwards the Adjournment will be moved, and a Debate will take place on the Home Guard.
Fourth Sitting Day.—The House will adjourn for the Christmas Recess.
During these Sittings we shall consider any Amendments to the National Service Bill which may be received from another place. The length of the Christmas Recess will be announced later.
§ Sir P. HarrisOn the first Sitting Day, will the Chancellor of the Exchequer be making a statement in introducing the Vote of Credit?
§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend will be in a position to make a statement to the House.
