asked the Secretary of State for War who has been appointed financial adviser to the Emperor of Ethiopia; why the appointment was made; and what powers the appointed person has?

The appointment of a financial adviser will be a matter for discussion with the Emperor when the agreement between His Majesty's Government and the Emperor has been concluded. No such appointment exists at present.
