asked the Under secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can give the House any information about the present position of the property of the Abyssinian Church in Jerusalem?

I have no recent information on this subject, but I am asking the High Commissioner for a report.

Was this property at any time administered by the Italians?

Is my hon. Friend aware that this question has been raised many times in the House and that there has been great delay in returning this property to its rightful owners?

As my hon. Friend is aware, there has been a change in circumstances recently.

Not recently, but a long time ago.
