§ Mr. AttleeIt was always the intention of my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister that certain functions of the former Ministry of Transport should be transferred to the Board of Trade or other Departments, and he has now arranged for the responsibilities referred to to be transferred to the Board of Trade. This arrangement will not, of course, preclude consideration at some later stage of a more comprehensive realignment of Departmental responsibilities for fuel and power services.
