asked the Minister of Labour whether a man losing his present reservation is at liberty, on his own initiative, to transfer to alternative employment with a lower reserved age?

I would refer my hon. Friend to paragraph 15 of the explanatory memorandum to the revised edition of the Schedule of Reserved Occupations and Protected Work, dated 10th April, 1941.
