Mr. Brookeasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that persons needing to register births or deaths are being subjected to very long delays in some London districts, apparently owing to the need for taking special care of the registers during air raids, although the registrars themselves are working overtime; and whether he will give directions which will serve to relieve people, often undergoing mental stress at such a time, from hours of crowded waiting when carrying out these necessary formalities?
