HC Deb 17 October 1940 vol 365 c821
50. Mr. Loftus (for Mr. Craven-Ellis)

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether it has yet been decided to institute an inquiry into the whole problem of land settlement, including small-holdings established by county councils, with a view to the preparation of a comprehensive scheme which can be put into operation immediately after the war for the benefit of men who have served in His Majesty's Forces and others?

Mr. Hudson

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the Question by him on this subject on 22nd February last, to which I have nothing to add.
