HC Deb 20 November 1940 vol 365 c1969
31. Colonel Arthur Evans

asked the Postmaster-General whether he will give details to supplement his recent announcement that better arrangements were being made for the transmission of mails to Palestine and when these arrangements are likely to be completed?

The Assistant Postmaster-General (Captain Waterhouse)

As regards the recent announcement made by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War, I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that close and constant touch is maintained with the Ministry of Shipping and the Service Departments to make certain that every possible outlet is used for the despatch of mails to Palestine.
