Mr. Sloanasked the Secretary of State for War whether he has considered the petition signed by 60 non-combatants stationed at a place of which he has been informed, asking to be transferred to 1563 Civil Defence work in London or any other humanitarian duties; and whether he will consider utilising their services in this particular work?
