asked the Minister of Supply whether he will publish a list giving the names of all the controllers of various supplies in his Ministry, together with their trade connections prior to their appointment; and whether the terms of the various agreements made with them will be made available for the information of Members of this House?

I have had a list prepared showing the names of the various controllers of materials and the main business interests with which they were connected prior to their appointment, which I propose to circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT. Controllers are appointed by letters, the texts of which differ in detail according to the particular circumstances of each case. There is, however, in all cases a general requirement that a controller must agree to cease from active participation in the management of those businesses which are
