HC Deb 12 November 1940 vol 365 c1591
Mr. Lees-Smith

May I ask the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make with regard to the Business of the House?

The Prime Minister (Mr. Churchill)

It will be fitting for the House to pay tribute to-day to the memory of the late Mr. Neville Chamberlain. Afterwards we desire to obtain the Business up to and including the fourth Order as well as the three Motions which follow. The statements and the Debate on the Contributions of India, Burma and the Colonies to the War Effort will be postponed. When the Business which I have outlined is concluded to-day, I shall propose that the House go into Secret Session in order that a statement may be made on the Business of the House.
