Mr. MorrisonA war bonus to meet the rise in the cost of living is being granted to the lower paid grades of civil servants, including postal workers, with effect as from the 1st February, 1940, in accordance with an agreement recently concluded on the National Whitley Council.

Mr. MorrisonYes, Sir. I think it covers all grades of civil servants, but if it is a point of detail and the hon. Member will give me notice, I will tell him of the application of the agreement.
