asked the Minister of Labour whether he will inquire into the circumstances in which from 12 to 18 players of the West Bromwich Albion Football Club, with no previous knowledge of the work, have been given employment with Messrs. Accles and Pollock, tube manufacturers, Oldbury; whether he is aware that experienced men of several years' service with this firm have had to meet their military service obligations; and whether he will give particular attention to the suggestion of preferential treatment implied by the scheduling of footballers as munitions workers when it is clear that they have no claim whatsoever to such a description?
