§ "That a Supplementary sum, not exceeding £308,000, be granted to His Majesty, to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st Say of March, 1940, for expenditure in respect of sundry public buildings in Great Britain, not provided for on other Votes, including historic buildings, ancient monuments, Brompton Cemetery and certain housing estates."
