asked the Minister of Labour whether he will consider lowering the reservation age for key men in the various branches of the cotton industry?

The matter is now being considered, and I will communicate with the hon. Member as soon as a decision has been reached.

Is the Minister aware of the acute shortage of labour already in the industry, and particularly of the difficulty of training skilled men?
