May I ask the Prime Minister whether he will state the business for next week?

The Prime Minister

The business for next week will be:

Monday—Conclusion of the Report stage and Third Reading of the Old Age and Widows' Pensions Bill.

Tuesday—Motion to move Mr. Speaker out of the Chair on Army Estimates and consider Votes A, 1, and Army Supplementary Estimate in Committee.

Wednesday—Committee stage of the Vote of Credit for War Expenditure in 1940. Debate on Food Supplies.

Thursday—Third Allotted Supply Day: Report stage of Army, Air and Navy Estimates and of outstanding Civil Supplementary Estimates.

Friday—Report stage of the Vote of Credit.

During the week as opportunity offers progress will be made with other outstanding business.

May I state with regard to Wednesday's business that the Opposition intend to raise questions involving both the Ministry of Food and the Ministry of Agriculture?

Will the Lord Privy Seal be available to reply and to deal with the whole range of problems?
