HC Deb 06 March 1940 vol 358 cc369-70
34. Mr. G. Strauss

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the close collaboration between the French and British Governments, arrangements are being discussed for the co-ordination of some of the health services in the African Colonies?

Mr. M. MacDonald

In the regions of Africa where British and French territories are contiguous there is already a good deal of collaboration in health matters; and I am hopeful that further opportunities will be developed for common action in this important sphere.
