HC Deb 12 June 1940 vol 361 cc1243-4
5. Mr. Lewis

asked the Minister of Information whether he is aware that, owing to the belated, irregular and inadequate deliveries of British newspapers and periodicals in Turkey, there is no satisfactory means in that country of counter acting the German newspapers and periodicals which are circulating freely; and whether he will endeavour to remedy this state of affairs?
