§ 38. Sir R. Aclandasked the Minister of Information whether he will make available to Members of this House copies of any one day's reports on the state of public opinion received by his Ministry, other than those reports which could give away military information to the enemy?
Mr. CooperNo, Sir. Any one day's report read without knowledge of those that had gone before might produce an entirely false impression, and as these reports frequently do contain information of military value, it would obviously be undesirable to give them a wide circulation.
