asked the Minister of Agriculture what he estimates the total sum to be that farmers will receive in a full year as a result of the increased prices recently announced by him?

The estimate which the hon. Member desires me to make calls for gifts of prophecy as to future events which in present circumstances I should be reluctant to attempt.

Can the Minister give any kind of estimate?

It entirely depends on the weather and the course of the war.
