§ Mr. H. MorrisonThe work of repairing Army lorries under the Ministry of 840 Supply scheme is, and always has been, carried out by garage proprietors, not motor manufacturing firms. Some vehicle manufacturers have repair depots in various districts, and use has been made of these facilities, treating the depots as garages in the ordinary way. This work in depots does not take up any space or labour that would otherwise be utilised in aircraft production.
