asked the Minister of Labour whether he will state the amount of the concession in the cost of omnibus fares granted to men engaged at St. Athans Royal Air Force station; to what area it is applicable; and why it is not granted to men living in Rhondda?

I am having inquiries made into the matter and will communicate with the hon. Member in due course.

Mr. Mainwaring

In making that inquiry will the right hon. Gentleman bear in mind that Rhondda men who are sent there have less advantageous conditions than are otherwise obtainable?
