§ 37. Sir Joseph Leechasked the Secretary of State for War whether he will issue to all messing officers attached to the home Forces a general order that food must be served to the men either in a hot or a cold condition, and not tepid; and will he repeat the order every month 1881 during the duration of the war so as to avoid tepid food being rejected by the men and so wasted?
§ The Secretary of State for War (Mr. Oliver Stanley)I do not think such an order is required.
