HC Deb 26 February 1940 vol 357 c1726
21. Mr. E. J. Williams

asked the Minister of Labour whether he could expedite the procedure of the national tribunal appointed to deal with the scheduling of war contracts in relation to lodging and travelling allowances; and whether the tribunal will expedite its consideration of applications with regard to contracts at Brecon, Lenny Bridge, Glascoed, Caerwint, Bridgend, Cardiff, Fishguard, Aberporth, Pembrey and Llanclough, as the delay is seriously affecting the interests of members of the Amalgamated Society of Woodworkers?

Mr. Assheton

The procedure of the national scheduling tribunal of the building industry is a matter for the industry itself.
