§ 28. Mr. Keelingasked the Home Secretary on what matters he intends to consult the Advisory Committee on the House-to-House Collections Act?
§ Sir J. AndersonThe Advisory Committee is being consulted at present on applications for orders under Section 3 of the Act exempting charities operating over 1519 substantial parts of the country from the obligation to apply to police authorities for licences. I have not yet had occasion to refer any other point to them, but I shall not hesitate to consult them on any matter connected with the administration of the Act on which they could usefully advise me.
§ Mr. KeelingIs the Advisory Committee willing to hear evidence both for and against applications for exemption?
§ Sir J. AndersonI should like to have notice of that Question.
