Mr. Dobbieasked the Minister of Food whether, having regard to the proposal to extend food rationing, and the difficulties experienced by railwaymen who have to lodge away from home alternate days owing to being employed on double-home shifts of duty, he will make special provision to meet the circumstances?
§ The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Mr. W. S. Morrison)I do not 1352 consider that the circumstances referred to call for special provision under the present rationing scheme, but I will look further into the matter.
