asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will arrange for the appointment of a Jewish chaplain to the British Expeditionary Force to enable him to minister to soldiers of the Jewish faith?

I am in communication with the Jewish War Services Committee on this subject. I hope shortly to receive a report which will enable me to reach a decision.
