asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has yet received information from the Governor of the Gold Coast upon a return of profits by the gold companies, and the amount spent on the welfare of the workers?

The information desired by the hon. Member has not yet been received from the Governor. I am asking him to expedite his reply.
