§ The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food (Mr. Lennox-Boyd)The general price charged for saccharine per hundred was 9½d. in August last and 1s. on 20th January. The increase in price corresponds to the increase in the Excise Duty imposed under the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1939.
