HC Deb 20 August 1940 vol 364 cc1118-9
46. Mr. Tinker

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that there is a difference of opinion on the manner in which the regulations on the supplementary old age pensions are being interpreted, he will consider giving a day after the Recess so that the position can be discussed in the House, and thus help to remove the difficulties which have arisen?

Mr. Attlee

If there is a general desire for such a Debate, the possibility can be considered through the usual channels after the Recess.
