asked the Prime Minister whether he can give an assurance that His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom will not enter into any permanent obligations on the Continent of Europe without the fullest consultation with His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions?

Mr. Attlee

Yes, Sir. I can assure my hon. Friend that we have maintained, and shall continue to maintain, the closest touch with His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions on all aspects of foreign policy.
