HC Deb 30 April 1940 vol 360 c541
64. Brigadier-General Spears

asked the Home Secretary whether the captain of the Danish ship "Jessie Maersk," who only put into a British port because his crew mutinied, and refused to allow him to carry out the orders of the German authorities, has been, or will be, interned?

Mr. Peake

My right hon. Friend has received reports about this incident. The question whether the Master shall be detained or shall be allowed to return to Denmark is under consideration.
