§ The Secretary of State for the Colonies (Mr. Malcolm MacDonald)The answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. The Labour Department has been reorganised and strengthened, and 192 I am now awaiting the recommendations of the Governor as to the best method of providing proper housing for native labour in Mombasa, and the other matters to which the Commission has drawn attention.
