HC Deb 16 April 1940 vol 359 c766
64. Sir Smedley Crooke

asked the Minister of Supply whether his attention has been drawn to the concern recently expressed by the municipality concerned, at the proposed erection of a factory on a site at present used as a Young Men's Christian Association recreation ground adjoining a fine modern school; and whether, seeing that this is an unsuitable site, he will select one of the many alternative sites available for the building of the proposed factory?

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply (Colonel Llewellin)

I am glad to say that, after further search, a suitable alternative site has been found.
