MacDonaldAs I informed the House on 15th February, 1939, it has been decided to invite Parliament to agree to the remission, subject to one condition which has been accepted by the local authorities, of the claim for £5,500,000 in respect of the original cost of construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway.
