§ 31. Mr. Gallacherasked the Home Secretary whether it is proposed to make any charge for replacement or repair of gas-masks where defects are due not to lack of care but to normal wear and tear or to deficiencies in the mask itself?
§ Sir J. AndersonMembers of the public are expected to take reasonable care of the respirators issued to them, and until respirators have been worn under air-raid conditions no question of normal wear and tear should arise.
