§ Mr. E. BrownYes, Sir. There is an urgent need for men in these occupations both for the Services and for industry. The present arrangements for the reservation of these men are designed to secure that the majority of such men shall be retained in industry while providing for recruitment of the number required as tradesmen in the Forces.
