BrownThe question of facilities for overtime is a matter for the employers' organisations and the trade unions to settle, except in so far as restrictions are placed on the overtime of women and young persons by the Factories Act. I understand from the Secretary of State for Home Affairs that in the application of the Factories Act he is proceeding as suggested in the question.
