§ Mr. ShakespeareIt was the intention of the Admiralty to form a Naval Brigade in. the Manchester area, but owing to the outbreak of war a different procedure will be adopted. Recruiting for the R.N.V.R. has now ceased. My right hon. Friend will make a general statement at an early date dealing with plans for recruiting naval personnel during the period of the war.
