Resolved,
That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the law relating to national health insurance as respects the period of the present emergency, and to amend the law relating to widows', orphans' and old age contributory pensions as respects that period and as respects provisions against double pensions, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase resulting from the operation of the said Act in expenditure which is authorised to be defrayed out of such moneys under or by virtue of the National Health Insurance Acts, 1936 to 1938, the Widows', Orphans' and Old Age Contributory Pensions Acts, 1936 and 1937, or the Old Age Pensions Act, 1936. — (King's recommendation signified.) —[Sir J.
