asked the Prime Minister whether, when formulating our war aims, he will see that the liberation of the German people is placed in the forefront?

I would refer the hon. Member to the Prime Minister's speech on 12th October, in which the attitude of His Majesty's Government towards the German people is expressed.

Does that statement include the liberation of the German people?

Mr. Butler

Perhaps the hon. Gentleman will refer to the statement on which I could not improve.
