asked the Minister of Health whether he will make a statement with regard to the effective provision of camping facilities made to date under the Camps Act, 1939?

Mr. Elliot

I would refer the hon. Member to the written statement made on Tuesday in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Bosworth (Sir W. Edge).

Mr. Ede

Is it proposed to extend the number of camps under this Act now?

Mr. Elliot

Obviously, that will depend on whether the material is available. As at present advised, I do not think the material is available.
