Mr. Attlee

Can the Prime Minister say whether it is proposed in the course of next week to have any statement from either of the Service Ministers?

The Prime Minister

Yes, Sir. I expect that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Air will make a statement on Tuesday, and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War on Thursday.

Mr. Attlee

Will the statements be made on the Motion for the Adjournment or at the end of Questions?

The Prime Minister

At the end of Questions.

Mr. Attlee

Then I take it they will not be debatable, and that if occasion should arise for debate time will have to be sought?

The Prime Minister

Yes, Sir.
